About Us
Vizhipom Vidhaipom is a student-run NGO that was founded in August 2021. Our mission is to help the homeless and those in need around the Tambaram (Chengalpattu District) area. What started as a small initiative to distribute clothes to the homeless has grown into a weekly service, where we also provide food packets and extend our support to the underprivileged.
- Completed over 150 weeks of service, focusing on aiding the homeless community.
- Organized events like Clothing Drives, Tree Plantation Drives, and Health Camps.
- Collaborated with local schools and communities to support development initiatives.
Our recent efforts include a partnership with the Government School of Madambakkam, where we helped renovate the school walls to celebrate its 100th anniversary. In addition to community outreach, we also hosted a Career Guidance Programme and Mobile Awareness Campaign at Kesari Higher Secondary School in Chennai to support students in shaping their future.
